The Philippines is known to be the text capital of the world, with that in mind market demand is high on cell phone loads in the country. With over 70 million users and an average of 900 million text a day, telecommunication business companies are flourishing. A family household for instance in the country spends at least 2500 PHP a month for a load or more, so I was thinking of a link with Telco products that there should be a way to at least start a business that makes sense with less investment. After all, having a stable job abroad is not a guarantee to be a lifetime source of income, let’s face it OFW’s, we are all expendables in the countries where we are currently working.
One day, I got a call from unfamiliar voice, it was last year, November 2010. He happened to be a fellow who resides in the same town where I grew up in the Philippines and got my contact details from a friend, he talked about the loading business, I was like it’s a coincidence!
